Our Church is one of hundreds of Christian Science branch churches around the world whose members are dedicated to living the principles of Christian Science as discovered by its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy.
The universal laws of spiritual healing that Mrs. Eddy discovered in the late 19th century, which can be read in her primary work Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, are rooted in the Bible and the teachings and
healings of Christ Jesus, who taught that God is Love. Christian Science teaches that the healing works of Jesus can be successfully practiced today.
Since the founding of Christian Science, tens of thousands of individuals have been healed of everything from colds to cancer through prayer alone. Healings demonstrated in Christian Science are evidence of God’s constant presence
in our lives and are proof that, whatever challenges we may encounter, His ever-present love and protection are always available to meet our every need.

First Services in Montclair
In 1898, Christian Science services were held informally in Montclair. After a few years the group formally organized, and by the early 1900’s had grown large enough to become a recognized branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1926 the cornerstone for the building at 8 Hillside Avenue was laid.

Everyone is welcome to our services! The Bible together with Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, serve as our Pastor. They provide guidance, inspiration, and insight at all of our worship services.
WEDNESDAY EVENING MEETINGS
7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. EST
Selected readings from the Bible and from Science and Health are followed by testimonies of healing and inspiration gained from the study and practice of Christian Science
